I shared that besides Formed.org, there is another Catholic website name Hallow that I have subscribed to. I recently came upon a daily inspirational resource on it named Daily Reflections, that is only 7-8 minutes long. Jeff Cavins provides commentary on the daily gospel that is read by Jonathan Roumie, who is the actor who plays Jesus in The Chosen.
Today’s gospel is an example of how Jeff Cavins provides amazing insight into a very familiar story. Today’s gospel reading was from Matthew 9:14-17, when John’s disciples asked Jesus: “Why do we fast much and your disciples do not fast?” This is the parable when Jesus talks about old and new wine skins.
You can load Hallow from any Play Store onto your phone or device. It comes up on the Android store as Hallow: Catholic Meditation. I strongly suggest that you do so today, so that you can listen to this short message, since I have not found a way to listen to an old message unless you have done so at least one, which puts this into your favorites folder on Hallow.
